It's about an awareness of the possibilities, about creativity, about connections. Your students will need you to lead them to alternatives to Poweroint, to other tools that allow them to be more creative and less linear, to show them now many of our Web 2.0 tools play nicely together, to model learning from and with others.

Kudos to you!Donna Baumbachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05352619023085904675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185215054621700923.post-52890860729649529052010-05-30T17:47:16.857-07:002010-05-30T17:47:16.857-07:00Wow, that's great that your 4th graders are us...Wow, that's great that your 4th graders are using Power Point. Students in my school district don't learn it until their freshmen. My students prepare a power point for their semester project and then they have to present it to the whole class. Having a peer audience is great. They work hard so others in their class will like their info, design, animations etc. Peer audiences is a great motivator.Camilla Grandgeorgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07769910483905580081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185215054621700923.post-3050365153780081042010-05-28T12:09:45.515-07:002010-05-28T12:09:45.515-07:00Love the aha moments. Every year when I do my video projects, there's something that gets a little clearer and easier thanks to the work of my students.Bill Lammershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08209576881139903984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185215054621700923.post-85281897323764318472010-05-27T17:53:52.266-07:002010-05-27T17:53:52.266-07:00Awesome! Same kind of thing. After an introduction, they added wonderful backgrounds and pictures and word art, etc.Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13198762856488783448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185215054621700923.post-89530409047912339472010-05-27T13:20:04.870-07:002010-05-27T13:20:04.870-07:00That is a great moment!
